Pass Guarantee Policy
The Pass Guarantee is available for the 2025 edition and onward for an additional fee to purchasers of the Ultimate Membership and Q Bank. If you do not pass the ABOM exam during the current testing cycle, you may qualify for a complimentary subsequent year subscription to the online question bank or a replacement of the print book set, subject to the eligibility requirements outlined below.
Important: The Pass Guarantee will not be available for any purchase on or after September 1st.
Note: This feature is automatically applied to any pre-order sales of the Ultimate Membership or online Q bank.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Direct Purchase: Purchases must be made directly from obesitymedicinereview.com and only apply to the purchasing candidate and will only be provided to the same individual and email account associated with the original purchase. It can not be transferred, and sharing memberships or Q bank access will result in termination of membership without refund and will void the Pass Guarantee perk.
- Proof of Test Failure: Documentation of exam failure must be submitted and verified as part of the eligibility process.
- Testing Cycle Requirement: Only those who have taken the ABOM exam within the designated test cycle are eligible. For example, a 2026 Q bank is only eligible for the Pass Guarantee if the test is taken in 2026. Individuals who did not sit for the exam in this period will not qualify in subsequent years.
- Replacement Limits: For customers who purchased the Ultimate Membership (both print and online question bank), only one replacement will be provided—either the print book set or the online question bank, not both.
- Return Process for Print Materials: Upon submission and verification of exam failure, a return label for books will be provided at no additional cost. Once the prior edition is received and upon availability of subsequent years’ material, a replacement will be shipped.
- Applicable Editions: The Pass Guarantee applies exclusively to the 2025 and subsequent years’ editions, and does not extend to any prior editions.
- Notification Period: We must be notified of exam failure within 14 business days of the score release to be eligible for the Pass Guarantee.
- Confidentiality: All documentation of exam failure is confidential and will only be used for verification purposes. Screenshots of the email confirming failure are sufficient. Score reports are not needed.
- Exclusion of membership: Access to the Q bank or book sets only is included in the Pass Guarantee. Memberships, including OMR Plus or the Ultimate Membership, are not provided.
